I founded ProTech IT Solutions about 9 years ago when I discovered a gap in the market. I noticed that there were many companies offering Computer Repair Services, but there were also a great number of clients who were unhappy with the quality of work provided by them.

Several of the people I consulted with spoke of appointments not being honoured, quotes that were inflated after the repair and shoddy substandard repairs, resulting in additional works and costs being incurred.

 

In fact this was the basis of a majority of my early work and the way in which I gained quite a few clients, who have remained clients over the years. They brought their computers to me to rectify the poor work that had been carried out by others!

I have a background in mechanical repairs and Adult IT Education and I pride myself in being able to comprehend and repair most of the problems that I'm faced with, but I am also the first to admit when a problem has me scratching my head! This doesn't mean I will be giving up, but on the contrary, it spurs me on even more to understand what I don't know and to find the solution.
 
I was a latecomer to the world of computing and so it was a very steep learning curve for me, which has given me a personal understanding of the obstacles faced by my clients, who are just dipping a toe into the world of computers and the Internet. I keep this in mind when I deliver my training and tuition and try to make the experience as much about enjoyment as it is about educating.
